TUGUEGARAO CITY, Philippines- They have been warned.
Officials of Tuguegarao Airport rushed to procure water dispensers after Department of Transportation (DOTr) Secretary Arthur Tugade warned to fire them if he still can’t see water dispensers when he gets back.
“Bakit walang tubig dito? Dapat may available na tubig para may mainom ang mga naghihintay na pasahero,” Tugade told the airport officials.
Hours after, three water dispensers could already be seen in the arrival and departure area.
A source told Forum the officials immediately procured the water dispensers after Tugade’s warning.
Tugade also visited the pre-departure area and apologized to passengers for the “crowded” airport facility.
“Pasensya na kayo at masikip dito. Mamaya ay bubuksan na natin yung bagong passenger terminal building dito. Promise, aayusin namin ito,” he said.
The transportation chief also led the inauguration of the new two-storey terminal building of the airport, together with Cagayan Third District Rep. Randy Ting, and other local officials. Northernforum.net
