CAUAYAN CITY, Isabela–President Rodrigo Roa Duterte (PRRD) furious on recent rape cases happening in the country.
On a campaign of Partido Demokratiko Pilipino-Lakas ng Bayan (PDP-LABAN), PRRD emphasized the issues regarding the timely rape cases in the country.
“Pari ni-rape bata, balatan mukha, pati 4-month old. Anong human rights diyan,” PRRD stated during his speech.

“Kahapon may pinatay ang mga p***g I***g iyan binalatan ang mukha,” Duterte added.

The rape-slay of 16-year-old Christine Lee Silawan in Lapu-lapu City, Cebu has promted calls for the revival of death penalty.
Silawan was identified as a student of the Maribago High School. She was first reported missing by her mother after she failed to return home from serving as collector in church on Sunday.
Authorities are looking at the involvement of three suspects in the rape-slay.
Moreover, he emphasized that these rape cases are actions done by drug addicts.
He also said that Christian priests attacking him by praying to God for his death.
“Kaya ko gumanti, pari pa mismo humiling sa diyos na mamatay ako. Kawawa naman ako, dalawa ako asawa ko. Your God is not my God”, he added.
Meanwhile, during the time of former President Fidel Ramos, former Sec. Rafael Alunan went to the United States and was warned about Narco-politics.
“If you will not stop the drugs in your country, it will be like Columbia. Rape is spreading there and people are just playing”, warning of US to Alunan before, said by PRRD.
