BALLESTEROS, Cagayan—Ballesteros District Jail (BDJ) celebrated BDJ Christmas Special with the hashtag #iSANTAHANAN at BDJ grounds, Dec. 1, 2018.
JSINSP Mark Saquing, Warden, Ballesteros District Jail expressed his sentiments to his co-jail officers and all the PDLs and families regarding the time he has spent as warden.
Saquing also said that there are more challenges to come and more storms to overcome, he hopes for the PDLs and Jail Officers to stand with him in being part of a greater journey.
During the event, one of the PDLs was surprised because of the announcement made by Saquing, through Good Conduct Time Allowance (GCTA), a form of grant where the Warden of a local jail has the power to grant such allowances for good conduct and behavior of inmates and once approved these allowances shall not be withdrawn.
As an advance, Saquing also announced in advance that the following year (2019) will be his last term, he advised, that who will ever be that next warden, the programs that is implemented should be sustained and practiced.
Finally, there were also lighting of parols and the biggest Tala that the PDLs has made.
