PNP Cagayan’s Akyat Aklatan goes to Sto. Niño

Cagayan Police Provincial Office’s (CPPO) Project Akyat-Akalatan on February 22, 2020 benefitted more than one hundred learners of Lipatan Elementary School in Sto. Niño, Cagayan.

Provincial Director Police Colonel Ariel Narag Quilang said that the books that were donated to the school will help the learners achieve quality education.

“Itong mga librong ito ay bunga ng patuloy na pagtutulungan ng NGO partner namin na Sierra Falcones upang maidala at mabigyan ng babasahin ang mga bata rito”, he added.

Recently, CPPO was awarded as one of the most outstanding PPO in the country because of the impact of the said project.

Quilang promised the people of Lipatan more help from the Philippine National Police.

“Nandyan na po ang mga tulong ng gobyerno. Hindi po kami titigil na tumulong at babalik-balikan po namin kayo”, he said.

Meanwhile, Quilang also announced the new project that will supplement Akyat Aklatan.

“Alam nyo po, mayroon po tayong i-lalaunch na bagong project na makakatulong lalo na sa atin mga estudyante. Ang Project Pag-asa sa Pagbasa (PAGPAG) na ipinartner sa kapulisan ng Sierra Falcones at Rotaract Club Tuguegarao Citadel”, he said.

Project PAGPAG is a supplementary project that will boost the primary project Akyat-Aklatan.

The three organization plan to launch Project PAGPAG later on this March 2020.

Books against Insurgency

Through the existing project, PCapt Ranie Gabating, Chief of Police of Sto. Niño said that the insurgency level in the municipal has dropped down.

“Dahil sa proyektong ito, nagpapasalamat kami lalong-lalo na sa nagdodonate upang matulungan ang kapulisan labanan ang insurhnsiya dito sa bayan ng Sto. Niño”, he added.

Furthermore, Gabatin emphasized that through this kind of activity, the community were able to deliver their conditions to the government.
