POGO workers in CEZA denied entry by CoVid19 checkpoint in Cagayan

TUGUEGARAO CITY, Cagayan – 22 workers from Metro Manila of a Philippine Offshore Gaming Operations based in the Cagayan Economic Zone Authority were denied entry at the Sta Ana checkpoint.

 

Cagayan Police Provincial Office Provincial Director PCOL Ariel Narag Quilang said that the only individual allowed to enter the town was Benedict Wong, manager of Eastern Hawaii.

 

According to reports, the convoy carrying 22 individuals was able to go through several checkpoints until the checkpoint in Sta. Ana, where they were denied entry by the Interagency Agency Task Force on the emerging infectious disease.

 

However the IATF allowed Wong on the condition that he undergoes the req 14-day quarantine period.

 

According to reports, the workers were immediately escorted back to Metro Manila.
