TUGUEGARAO CITY, Philippines- In their continuous intensified campaign against suspects running from the law, Police Regional Office 02 (PRO2) has arrested four wanted persons in separate operations in Cagayan Valley over the past week.
In his report to Camp Crame, PRO2 Regional Director Police Chief Superintendent Jose Mario Espino said Cagayan Police arrested businessman Jovel Estioco, 37, on Monday morning, February 26.
Estioco is a resident of Centro, Sta Ana, Cagayan, and is a suspect of the crime reckless imprudence resulting to less serious physical injuries.
Later that afternoon, Nueva Vizcaya Police arrested Michael Suarez, 20. A resident of Sitio Cabinuangan, Runruno, Quezon, Nueva Vizcaya, Suarez is wanted for violating RA 6539 otherwise known as the Anti-Carnaping Act of 1972.
At the same time, personnel of Santiago City Police Station 1 nabbed businesswoman Cristina Tulaban, 30, for the crime of Estafa.
Also that afternoon, Isabela Police caught 27-year old Voltaire “Wako” Passion in Barangay Magsaysay, Naguilian, Isabela. He is wanted for the crime Frustrated Homocide.
Meanwhile, Espino urged the public to help the police in locating the whereabouts of wanted persons through on time reporting.
“We are now using the internet through our website to alert police stations as well as the public of the presence of a wanted persons in their community,” Espino said in a press release.
