Tuguegarao City – Three days after PLt. Oliver Tolentino was killed in Cauayan City, Isabela, the Police Regional Office (PRO2) has forwarded the investigation to Camp Crame.
In an interview between PLt. Col. Chevalier Iringan, Information Officer of PRO2 and Bombo Radyo Cauayan, Iringan said that it was a request of Brig. Gen. Angelito Casimiro, regional director of PRO2 to Lt. Col. Gerald Gamboa, Chief of Cauayan City Police Station to investigate the case even more extensively so that the facts including the motive and the suspect can be identified immediately.
Iringan also added that it is up to the Isabela Police Provincial Office (IPPO) to put together a Special Investigation Task Group (SITG) to conduct a deeper investigation of Tolentino’s case.
As of today there are still no leads and motives of the murder of as P/Lt. Oliver Tolentino who was shot dead at high noon, in front of his house in Barangay, Cabaruan in Cauayan City, Isabela.
