CITY OF ILAGAN, Isabela- The Isabela Electric Cooperative (ISELCO) – II management has reported the completion of restoration activities to the electric posts and lines that were severely damaged by Super Typhoon Lawin.
ISELCO – II General Manager Dave Solomon Siquian said the restoration of the electric cooperative’s facilities were mostly located at the northern part of the province where the super typhoon brought its strong winds and rains on Oct. 19 until Oct. 20, 2016.
He owed the completion of restoration to its fellow electric cooperative who came from nearby provinces and from regions 1 and 3 respectively.
“Through the Task Force Kapatid of electric cooperatives, our nearby electric cooperatives have shared their equipment and manpower to restore power to the typhoon-ravaged localities of Isabela,” Siquian said.
He said power were already back to normal even to the remotest villages which were ravaged by super Typhoon Lawin.
He assured that ISELCO – II will not pass on to the member-consumer the expenses incurred during the restoration. (PNA)
