TUGUEGARAO CITY, Cagayan – The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and Philippine National Police Cagayan (PNP) Valley arrested a High Value Target (HVT) drug individual by virtue of a search warrant on June 2, 2020.
Authorities identified the HVT as JR Areola Dela Rosa and a businessman in Lal-lo, Cagayan.
Based on the report, the authorities confiscated one coin purse containing six pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets, containing white crystalline substance suspected to be Shabu weighing MOL 0.20 grams, with an estimated market value of P3,000.
The suspect is now under the custody of PNP Lal-lo and will be facing charges for violation of Section 11 of Article II of RA 9165 or possession.
Meanwhile, the new Regional Director Joel B. Plaza of PDEA commended the operating team on their success.
“I commend my men for a job well done. As I start my work as the new Regional Director, I assure the Cagayanos of my staunch commitment to rid Cagayan Valley of the use and abuse of illegal drugs,” he added. TNF
