TUGUEGARAO CITY, Philippines- After assessing the wrath of super typhoon Lawin on the publi, the Cagayan State University (CSU) will need P100M for the rehabilitation of its damaged infrastructure.
The statement came from Commission on Higher Education (CHED)- Cagayan Valley region Director Honorato Alzate based on the assessment they conducted recently.
“CSU was evidently destructed and they caused the most number of infrastructure destroyed,” Alzate said.
After having a meeting with the CSU Board of Regents, Alzate said he is hoping that they will come to know how much help CHED may give for the rehabilitation of the university.
Congressman Randy S. Ting, member of the BOR expressed also during the meeting that he will brought this in the congress to seek out possible assistance.
In accordance, Alzate said the over-all damages Lawin brought by Lawin both in private and public universities and colleges in Cagayan and Isabela were worth P200 million. Erma Diciano/TNF
