TUGEUAGARO CITY, Philippines- Isabela police have arrested 26 drug personalities from 19 anti-illegal drug operations over the past week.
Isabela Police Director Police Senior Superintendent Reynaldo Garcia in a press release from the Police Regional Office 02 (PRO2) said the operations included buy-bust, checkpoints, police response, hot-pursuit ops, and implementations of warrants of arrest and search warrants from September 11 to 18.
Among these is the arrest of one of Laguna’s most wanted swindler suspects, Maria Nadhine Chloe Olivio, who was caught in a police checkpoint in San Manuel, Isabela on Thursday, September 14. Police were serving a warrant of arrest.
Meanwhile, Alicia Police also caught two minors, both 17 years old, in a buy-bust operation in the town on the same day.
“This notable accomplishment will not be possible without the collective efforts of the operating teams, other law enforcement agencies and the community. I am optimistic that we can easily eradicate illegal drugs in our locality if everyone will cooperate,” said Garcia in the release.
As of Thursday, September 21, records from the Regional Drug Enforcement Unit 02 show that the police have arrested 818 drug personalities out of 741 operations. From this number, 29 were high value targets (HVT), the release stated. Northernforum.net
