TUGUEGARAO CITY, Philippines- Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Director General Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa on Monday, October 17, announced  the arrest of suspected drug lord Kerwin Espinosa in Abu Dhabi.

In a press conference at the Camp Crame in Quezon City, Dela Rosa said Espinosa was arrested at around 2 AM during the joint operations of the PNP Anti-illegal Drugs Group headed by Senior Superintendent Albert Ferro and the Abu Dhabi Police.

Dela Rosa said  the overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) there reported to authorities here the presence of Espinosa.

He said that the police are already processing Espinosa’s paper so he could flown back to country.

Espinosa is the son of Albuera, Leyte Mayor Rolando Espinosa who was also recently arrested by the PNP due to illegal drug-related charges. TNF
