TUGUEGARAO CITY, Cagayan – The International Organization for Migration has turned over a new system, Biometrics Registration and Verification (BRaVe) to the Department of Welfare and Development (DSWD) Region 2 on November 10.
According to the welfare department, the system and information technology is an equipment which will be used for implementation of the Disaster Vulnerability Assessment and profiling Project (DVAPP).
“It aims to establish a database of economically and disaster-vulnerable families by registering them into the BRaVe system through a digital platform,” DSWD region 2 explains.
Among the regions to receive BRaVe systems and information technology equipment are the Cordillera Administrative Region and CARAGA.
