Tuguegarao City, Cagayan – The state weather bureau said on Monday morning, Oct 31, that tropical depression “Queenie” has developed into a Tropical Storm.
The weather disturbance was earlier reported to have entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) at 5am Monday.
Pagasa said the Tropical Storm was spotted 815 kms East of Northeastern Mindanao with max winds of 65kph and gusts reaching 80kph.
Queenie is currently forecast to move West southwestward at a speed of 10 kph before moving north northwestward towards the Caraga-Eastern Visayas area tomorrow through Wednesday.
Pagasa said presently there are still no tropical wind signals in effect.
