Kalinga native is new regional director of Valley Cops

 

TUGUEGARAO CITY, Cagayan – A native of Tabuk, Kalinga, Brigadier General Steve Bentican Ludan, has formally assumed post as the new regional director of the valley cops in region on Monday, July 19.

The Turn-over of Command and Retirement Honors for Brigadier General Crizaldo Obispo Nieves, outgoing Regional Director was held on early morning of July 19 at the Police Regional Office 2 (PRO2) Grandstand in Camp Marcelo A Adduru in this city, and was presided by Lieutenant General Ephraim Dickson, the Deputy Chief PNP for Operations.

Ludan was previously the Director of PNP Crime Laboratory and from the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) “Tanglaw-Diwa” Class of 1992.

Nieves in his message thanked the PNP leadership, the Valley Cops, local government units and stakeholders of Cagayan Valley for the overwhelming support and cooperation they have extended him during his one-year stint as Regional Director.

He further urged the Valley Cops and the community to sustain their good partnership in the furtherance of the programs and projects of the PNP.

On the other hand, Ludan manifested his gratefulness for the warm welcome accorded to him and expressed his optimism that his stewardship of PRO2 will be successful, having the full force of the Valley Cops beside him.
