TUGUEGARAO CITY, Cagayan – The town of Sanchez Mira in this province has achieved the Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) for five consecutive years since 2015 to 2019.
Town Mayor Asela Bagasin Sacramed said the achievement of her locality is because of the sustainability of their best practices through the years.
“The secret to everything that our town has achieved –the five consecutive years of being a national SGLG is total commitment in God’s daily grace and guidance. We were the first town in the province that organized ecumenical council wherein religious leaders of different denominations partnered with the LGU,” Sacramed said.
The mayor also proudly said the best practices of her administration are: Abiding in God’s word, Straight forward leadership, Excellent service, Living in self-sufficiency, and Advancement in programs towards economic development.
Sanchez Mira is a third class municipality with P127,500,000.00 Internal Revenue Allotment (IRA).
