TUGUEGARAO CITY, Philippines- Authorities arrested a high school student in Gonzaga town in Cagayan province for conspiring to sell illegal drugs.
In a report, the Cagayan provincial police said it has arrested a 16 year-old, grade 8 student and a certain Lito Vicente, 41, in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Paradise in said town.
Police said an informant told them about the illegal activities of the suspects.
Joint elements of Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and Philippine National Police (PNP) conducted the buy-bust operations on Friday afternoon, January 12, with a PDEA employee acting as poseur buyer.
Recovered from the Vicente is P1,000 bill buy-bust money and one piece small heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu.
Both suspects are now in police custody and are facing charges for violations against the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act. Northernforum.net
