PNP chief Albayalde visits Cagayan Valley police

TUGUEGARAO CITY, Philippines- PNP Chief Director General Oscar David Albayalde made his first command visit here in Police Regional Office 02 (PRO2) camp Marcelo Adduru on Friday, June 1.

Albayalde was met with arrival honors from PRO2 led by Cagayan Valley Police Director Chief Superintendent Jose Mario Espino.

The chief of police will be the guest of honor and speaker for the inauguration of the newly-constructed building of Tuguegarao City Police Station in Carig.

Albayalde will also grace the blessing of PRO2’s new firing range lounge, inauguration of PRO2’s gate, and groundbreaking ceremony for the renovation of PRO2 chapel.

He will also witness the close quarter battle building SWAT demonstration of the regional police.

On Saturday, June 2, Albayalde will visit Batanes to attend the one year anniversary of the province’s declaration as the first drug-free province in the country.

Aside from this, Albayalde will also grace the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of Sabtang and Batanes police stations.

Meanwhile, Espino directed all police officers to provide appropriate route security for the chief to ensure his safety, police said.
