TUGUEGARAO CITY, Philippines- Valley Cops and their families joined Police Regional Office 02’s (PRO2) Station of the Cross within Camp Marcelo Adduru here on Good Friday, March 30.
Police officers and officials including Deputy Regional Director for Operations Police Senior Superintendent John Cornelius Jambora took turns per station in reenacting Jesus’ carrying of His cross to Calvary.
Father Rex Salvilla, CICM of the University of St. Louis Tuguegarao officiated the activity.
The Way of the Cross is an activity observed during Lenten season, especially on Holy Week.
It denotes a series of images depicting Jesus Christ on the day of his crucifixion and accompanying prayers.
The activity is a way to pray while meditating on Christ’s sacrifice for His people.

Aside from the Station of the Cross, PRO2 also conducted the Mass of the Last Supper and Washing of the Feet of 12 Apostles on Maundy Thursday, March 29, at Saint Vincent Ferrer Church here.
