TUGUEGARAO CITY, Cagayan – After almost a year of extension, Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board Region 2 (LTFRB R02) is still calling for all Pantawid Pasada Program beneficiaries to claim their fuel subsidy worth 5000 pesos.
LTFRB R02 Director Edward Cabase said that only 57% of all the beneficiaries in the region have claimed their grant.
The initial distribution started last August, 2018 and was supposed to end a few months later.
Seeing the struggle of some recipients from far places, LTFRB R02 has extended the distribution up until now.
RD Cabase further explained that after the completion of the distribution of the 5000 pesos grant, the second will be 20,000 pesos.
The second allowance from the Government will not be given unless the distribution of the first one has reached 100 percent.
“Regalo ito ng ating Gobyerno sa atin, tuloy-tuloy ang pamimigay namin ng cards, sana kunin na nila ang kanilang share dito sa ating tanggapan”, Cabase said.
(This is a gift from our Government, we are continuously giving out the cards, and we hope that they claim it here at our office.)
Eligible beneficiaries must bring a valid Government issued ID, with photocopy and a 1×1 identification picture to claim their fuel cards.
LTFRB has reminded the grantees that the fuel card is only valid for fuel purchases only at different gasoline stations with “Pantawid Pasada Cards Accepted Here” signs posted. northernforum.net
