TUGUEGARAO CITY, Cagayan—Under Social Security Act of 2018 or Republic Act No. 11199, Show Cause Orders (SCO) were served early this morning, July 30 to some delinquent employers of this city.
According to Atty. Voltaire Agas, Senior Vice President, Chief Legal Counsel of Social Security System, the delinquent employers were given 15 days to comply with the order. Failure to do so will be penalized or conviction up to 12 years.
This morning, 12 establishments were served by SCOs namely Star Studio Digital Works, Dreamworks, Annbida Motor Parts, Petromar, HCC/Trendy Store, two Cut Encarnacion Branch, Pacers, CAS Enterprises, Garpa Manpower, Tuguegarao Emporium and Carbonel Funeral Homes.
Agas explained to the owners and acting head of the establishments to comply and resolve the complaints of the employees.
Moreover, the usual issue said by delinquent employers in the contribution was failure to report the separation of their former employees.
Meanwhile, there were no delinquent employers who contested the serving SCO.
