CSC regional director: Ensuring safety of Filipino people deserves recognition

TUGUEGARAO CITY, Cagayan- “The Philippine National Police (PNP) is at the forefront of ensuring the safety of the Filipino people” said Dir. Nerissa B Canguilan, Regional Director, Civil Service Commission Regional Office 2 (CSC2) in her message to Police Regional Office 2 (PRO2) personnel as guest of honor and speaker during the awarding ceremony on January 28, 2019 held at PRO2 Grandstand.

Pursuant to general orders No. 367, 5 Valley Cops were awarded Medalya ng Kagalinan for having a successful conduct of different operations.

Canguilan expressed her appreciation to the PNP organization in ensuring public safety and security.

“We recognize the efforts of government officials and employees who have contributed to the accomplishment or have consistently demonstrated the ethical standards”, she added.

Furthermore, Canguilan also stated that as a Public Servant, the task that surrounds a Police Officer is demanding as he entails great responsibility to ensure the safety of People,”

The Medalya ng Kagalingan awardees are PCINSP Joberman Apelo Videz, PCINSP Ryan Dell Guiaoan Malanta, PSINSP Ranolfo Sebastian Gabatin, PSINSP Michael Saquing Esteban and PSINSP Melissa Oliquiano Gulan.

Likewise, Mrs Joana Marie B Tubana, wife of the late PSINSP Tubana received Pamanang Lingkod Bayani award with a cheque from the Civil Service Commission (CSC) amounting to ₱100, 000.

Meanwhile, Laying of Wreaths at the Gov. Marcelo Adduru Monument were also conducted and participated by Mrs Joana Marie DC Tubana, PCSUPT Romulo Adduru (Ret), Danilo N Pacunana, Regional Director, NAPOLCOM, Jonathan Paul M Leusen Jr, Regional Director and PCSUPT Jose Mario M Espino followed by the Blessing of PRO2 Heroes Memorial Headstone.
