TUGUEGARAO CITY, Cagayan—Two individuals, High Value target (HVT) under the drug watch list of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte was arrested in an operation yesterday, February 27, 2019.
According to the Philippine National Police (PNP), they arrested Randy Udani Alipio, 52 years old, carpenter and Baby Layawen Alipio, 52 years old, housewife and both residents of Brgy. San Vicente, Buguey, Cagayan.
“This is the result of intensified campaign against illegal drugs and criminals”, PCSUPT Jose Mario M Espino, Regional Director, Police Regional Office 2 (PRO2).
Joint personnel of Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency and Buguey Police Station implemented Search Warrant and resulted to the arrest.
During the operation, the police recovered one (1) hand grenade and eight (8) pieces heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu.
The inventory, markings and photographs were done at the premises of the suspects with the presence of Brgy. Officials, Media and the suspects. Seized items and the suspects listed as (No. 1 and No. 2 PRRD) list were brought to Buguey Police Station for documentation.
A case for violation of Republic Act No. 9165 was filed against the suspects and another case of R.A. No. 9516 for Alipio. northernforum.net
