DIPO-NL commends Valley Cops for a peaceful and orderly Midterm Elections in Cagayan Valley

TUGUEGARAO CITY, Cagayan—The Directorate for Integrated Police Operations Northern Luzon (DIPO-NL) recognized the efforts and contributions of Police Regional Office 2 (PRO2) for the success of the recently concluded Midterms National and Local Elections during the Traditional Monday Flag Raising and Awarding ceremonies  on June 3, 2019 held at PRO2 Grandstand.

DIPO-NL Acting Executive Officer PCOL Walter E Castillejos awarded the Certificate of Recognition to PRO2 received by PRO2 Regional Director PBGEN Jose Mario M Espino for the said accomplishments. Likewise, same certificate of recognition were also awarded to Police Provincial Offices of PRO2 received by their respective Provincial Director for the same accomplishment.

PCOL Castillejos said that the orderly conduct of elections in Cagayan Valley was attributed to the early security preparations of PRO2 and the best practices delivered to the people. “I urge everyone to continue our best practices, do what is right and perform well our mandate. I challenge the newly activated Provincial Mobile Force Company to deliver public safety services in their area of responsibility to address insurgency problems,” He added.

Meanwhile, also part of the program was the activation of the 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company of Cagayan Police Provincial Office (CPPO) which will be headed by PLTCOL Ronnie L Naira, Incoming Force Commander. The newly activated PMFC will establish their headquarters at Curva, Pamplona and will be manned by one hundred sixty nine (169) strong valley cops. northernforum.net
