TUGUEGARAO CITY, Philippines- Cagayan Valley Police’s chief of Regional Finance Service (RFS02) Police Superintendent Jean Dela Torre was named as the country’s “Best Senior Police Commissioned Officer for the Year.”
Superintendent Dela Torre bested 19 other contenders from the different regions to claim the award during the 78th Founding Anniversary of Finance held on Thursday, June 7, at Camp Crame, Quezon City.
Police Regional Office 02 (PRO2) said in a press release, no less than PNP Director for Finance Service Chief Superintendent Marlon Ganzon personally handed the award to Dela Torre.
Dela Torre expressed her gratitude to her comrades in PRO2 who have been extending help and support to her initiatives, advocacies, and programs.
“Maraming salamat po. Ito po ay bunga ng ‘di matatawarang tulong ng ating mga kasamahan sa PRO2. Asahan n’yo po ang patuloy na serbisyo ng RFS02 para sa PRO2. Ang tagumpay ko ay tagumpay ng buong kapulisan ng Region 2. God bless us all,” Dela Torre said as stated in the release.
PRO2 said RFSO2 under the leadership of Dela Torre was adjudged as the Best Regional Administrative Support Unit during the 117th Police Service Anniversary at Camp Marcelo Adduru, here, August last year.
“Aside from being an achiever, Superintendent Dela Torre is also known of her kindness and generosity. During her stint as chief RFSO2, she led the conduct of numerous outreach programs to help the less fortunate in the far-flung areas in Region 2,” the Valley Cops said.
