TUGUEGARAO CITY, Cagayan – Police have captured the Top 1 and Top 2 most wanted persons in Echague, Isabela last August 23, both of them were suspects of committing rape, based on a police report.
According to a report by Police Regional Office 2, the suspects arrested for the crime of rape were identified as Rolan Talamayan, Top 1 most wanted and 19-year old farmer George Zillabo, both from Barangay Salvacion of Echague.
Furthermore, five more most wanted persons from Cagayan and Nueva Vizcaya were apprehended in different police operations.
In the police report, Jay Venus, a 47-year old resident of Baggao, Cagayan was arrested for Violation of the Presidential Declaration 705 or the Forestry Reform Code of the Philippines and Monico Espiritu of Claveria, Cagayan for qualified theft.
Moreover, police also apprehended Louie Rey Whitney and Melchor Baltazar, both from Nueva Vizcaya for violation of Republic Act 9262 or the Anti-Violence against Women and Their Children Act of 2004.
Meanwhile, 21-year old Alvin Buscas of Nueva Vizcaya was also arrested for violation of Republic Act 10883 or the New Anti-Carnapping Act of 2016.
